Chance and Fate

Until recently, I have lived my life according to chance; everything that happens and everyone I meet is a result of pure coincidence. It is like random energy particles bouncing into each other in an unpredictable pattern. Lately, I have come to believe that everything happens for a reason, or at least coincidences can be viewed as having some meaning. Theories in quantum mechanics have been put forth that show that an underlying force exists that can skew the randomness of chance towards directions that make the universe more orderly. While any action of oneself or those around you may appear insignificant, they can also be interpreted as deliberate in that they can reveal the connotation of that chance occurrence…this is not to say that we have no control of our lives, rather that everything happens for a reason, even if the reason is not yet understood.
